February 18, 2017, I celebrated 2 years owning a robo-financial wellness startup, Weyn LLC www.weyn.biz. I created the company to generate an extra revenue stream for my nonprofit's signature event, Automation Workz www.autoworkz.org.

My plan was to automate financial education as I discovered over the 10 years when I managed a wealth management firm, the people who needed financial education the most, the economically disadvantaged, rarely attended financial workshops. I simply thought, I could build a mobile video game that taught entrepreneurship and finances, simultaneously, to lift these individuals and start a tech start-up revolution in the City of Detroit.

Creating a tech startup has been the most challenging assignment I have ever had as our invention is not ready for commercialization and I lack funds to hire the best developers to prepare it for commercialization. I realized there is lots of entrepreneurial resources available once your invention is complete and tested, but hardly any resources when you are in the pre-commercialization and pre-revenue phase.

The invention process is difficult. My difficulty has empowered me to build an invention center so others can find the invention resources to complete their commercial invention.

My vision is to create a center where both students and adults can experience future technology first hand - artificial intelligence, robotics, computer programming, data analytics, video gaming/ simulations and hands-on math that is the foundation for this technology.
